AC servicing & jet-wash cleaning in Dhaka

A proper service is more than blowing out the filter. We wash the coil and blower wheel, flush the drain, rinse the outdoor unit and check how the system is running — so your AC cools faster, smells fresh and stops dripping.

The service sheet

12 things we do on every full service

Our technicians follow the same written checklist on every unit, and tick it off on your job card. If a step can’t be done — for example, if the outdoor unit can’t be reached safely — we tell you before we start.

01

Pre-service check

We run the AC first and note vent temperature, airflow, noise and any error codes.

02

Power off & protect

Breaker off, furniture moved or covered, drop sheet laid and the jet-wash bag fitted under the unit.

03

Filters washed

Mesh filters and any carbon or dust filters removed, washed and dried before refitting.

04

Evaporator coil jet wash

Low-pressure water jet through the indoor coil fins to lift packed dust and grime without bending them.

05

Blower wheel cleaned

The cross-flow fan is where black mould hides. We wash each blade row until the water runs clear.

06

Drain tray & pipe flushed

Slime cleared from the tray and the drain line flushed through — the main cure for dripping units.

07

Body & louvres wiped

Front panel, swing louvres and casing cleaned so the unit looks as fresh as it smells.

08

Condenser coil rinsed

Outdoor coil washed from the inside out to clear the road dust, leaves and pigeon feathers that block airflow.

09

Electricals checked

Terminal connections tightened, capacitor and running current measured with a clamp meter.

10

Gas pressure reading

Suction pressure checked with a gauge. If it’s low we tell you — we never top up without looking for a leak.

11

Remote & sensors

Remote, display, swing motor and room sensor tested; weak remote batteries flagged.

12

Test run & job card

We run the unit again, compare vent temperature with the start reading and send your job card by SMS.

Choose the right clean

General service, jet wash or chemical wash?

Not every unit needs the deepest clean. Here is how the three service levels compare for a standard 1–1.5 ton wall-mounted split AC.

Service levelWhat is cleanedBest forTimePrice
General serviceFilters washed, coil surface brushed and sprayed, drain flushed, outdoor unit rinsed, electrical and gas checksUnits serviced within the last 4 months45–60 min৳1,200
Jet-wash serviceEverything in general service plus full coil and blower wheel jet wash with a drip bagMost homes — our standard recommendation60–90 min৳1,800
Chemical coil washJet wash plus a non-acid foaming coil cleaner and anti-bacterial rinse, indoor and outdoorMusty smells, heavy grime, units not cleaned for a year or more90–120 min৳2,800
Window AC serviceUnit removed from the frame where possible, coils and fan washed, drain holes clearedWindow and through-wall units60–90 min৳1,000

Prices are per indoor unit for 1–1.5 ton splits, valid from August 2026. 2–2.5 ton units add ৳400, and cassette or floor-standing units are quoted on booking. Booking three or more units at the same address? We take ৳100 off each unit.

Outside matters too

The outdoor unit gets the heat out. Keep it breathing.

Your indoor unit collects heat from the room; the outdoor unit has to throw it away. When the condenser coil is blocked with dust from the road, soot or bird nesting material, the heat has nowhere to go. Pressures rise, the compressor runs hotter and the whole system loses capacity — often right when Dhaka hits 36°C.

On every full service we rinse the condenser from the inside out, straighten any bent fins where possible, check that the fan spins freely and that nothing is blocking the air path. If your outdoor unit sits on an exterior wall with no balcony, tell us when you book so we can bring the right access equipment.

  • Keep at least 30 cm clear around the sides of the outdoor unit
  • Don’t cover it with plastic sheets while it is running
  • Ask us about a sunshade if it faces the afternoon sun

How often?

A service schedule for Dhaka conditions

6 months

Bedrooms used at night. One service before summer, one during the monsoon.

4 months

Living rooms running all day. Three services a year keep the coil clear.

3 months

Offices and shops. Long hours and door traffic bring in more dust.

6–8 weeks

Restaurants and salons. Grease, steam and hair clog filters fast.

Five habits that keep your AC fresh for longer

  1. Rinse the filters every two weeks in summer. Slide them out, rinse under a tap from the back, let them dry fully in the shade and refit.
  2. Set 24–26°C, not 16°C. The AC cools no faster at 16°C; it just runs longer and ices the coil. Each degree higher saves power.
  3. Run fan mode for 10 minutes before switching off in humid weather to dry the coil and slow mould growth.
  4. Use a voltage stabiliser or protector. Dhaka’s fluctuating supply is one of the main causes of PCB and compressor failures we see.
  5. Call early. Dripping, a new noise or a smell is cheap to fix now and expensive to ignore.

Servicing FAQ

Questions customers ask before booking

No. We fit a waterproof jet-wash bag under the indoor unit that channels dirty water into a bucket, lay a drop sheet and cover nearby furniture. The wall and floor stay dry, and we take the dirty water away.

Not for a normal jet-wash service. The coil and blower are cleaned in place. Removing the unit is only needed for very heavy contamination or repairs to the coil, and we would quote that separately.

Yes. A dirty unit usually keeps cooling but uses more electricity and struggles on the hottest days. Regular servicing also catches small problems such as a weakening capacitor or a slow gas leak before they become a breakdown.

Only if the pressure reading shows it is low, and only after telling you the likely cause and the price. Refrigerant does not get used up — low gas means a leak, and we recommend finding and repairing it first.

Yes. Inverter units are cleaned the same way, with extra care around the PCB and sensors. We cover the electronics before washing and check error codes after the test run.

Call us within 30 days and we come back free of charge. Occasional drips right after a wash are usually the drain clearing; if it continues we check the drain slope and pipe.
