Most AC problems we fix in Dhaka started on installation day — a unit that tilts the wrong way, pipes without insulation, no vacuum, a wall hole left open to rain. We install new split units and relocate existing ones the way the manufacturer intended, so they cool properly for years.
Installation standard
A standard split AC installation takes three to four hours for one unit. It is tempting to rush, especially in peak season, but every step below affects how well the unit cools, how much power it uses and whether it leaks water or gas later.
Your technician checks each step off on the job card, and you are welcome to watch any part of the work.
We check the wall can carry the unit, find a route for the pipe and drain, and confirm the socket and breaker are rated for the AC.
Fixed with proper anchors and a slight fall toward the drain side, with clearance above for airflow and filter removal.
Drilled with a core bit at a downward angle to the outside, so rainwater can’t run back in.
Galvanised bracket bolted into solid concrete, with rubber pads to reduce vibration and space around the unit for airflow.
Both copper lines separately insulated, bent without kinks and wrapped with the cable and drain in UV-resistant tape.
Pipes cut clean, deburred and flared with the correct tool, then tightened to the right torque — the most common leak point done right.
The drain runs downhill all the way to a safe outlet — never looped upward, never dripping on a neighbour’s balcony.
Lines evacuated with a vacuum pump and held to confirm there is no leak before any gas is released.
Wall hole sealed inside and out, pipe run clipped neatly, dust vacuumed and packaging removed.

Moving home or office?
Uninstall ৳1,500 per unit. Uninstall and reinstall at a new address in Dhaka from ৳4,500 per unit, plus any new pipe or bracket needed at the new location.

With the AC running, we close the service valves and draw the refrigerant back into the outdoor unit, so it isn’t released into the air.

Both units are removed safely, pipe ends are capped against dust and moisture, and the remote and brackets are bagged and labelled.

At the new address we install to our ten-step standard, vacuum the new lines and top up gas only if the extra pipe length requires it.

Installation FAQ
Some brands require installation by their own service team to keep the compressor warranty valid. Please check your warranty card before booking. For most brands sold through retailers, a proper installation with a job card is accepted, and we install to the manufacturer’s manual.
Most 1–2 ton splits work well with 10 to 15 ft of pipe and can go further with extra gas. Very long runs or large height differences reduce efficiency, so we advise on the best position during the survey.
Yes. We install all major brands regardless of where they were bought. Please check the box contents first — some online units ship without the copper pipe kit.
Only a single core-drilled hole is standard. If you want pipes hidden inside the wall, that needs masonry work and should ideally be planned before painting; we can quote it separately.
Three to four hours for one unit in a normal flat. A second unit at the same address adds about two hours. Rope access or long pipe runs take longer.
